Two people are dead because of Sunday's wrong-way crash on Interstate 35E in Carrollton. Three vehicles were involved.
The wrong-way driver died at the scene along with the driver in one of the other vehicles.
The third driver was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
Carrollton police say they had no calls about a wrong-way driver before the impact which left the wreckage scattered widely over the southbound side of I-35E near the Bush Turnpike.
Investigators are still working on where the wrong-way driver got on 35 and whether that driver had been drinking.
