For the second time in the last two weeks, a box of used needles was placed in the lobby of Southlake DPS.
Officer Brad Uptmore says the latter box of needles was placed next to the box where they're collecting donated toys to give to underprivileged kids. Thankfully, the needles were placed in sealed, non-puncturable thick plastic containers, so no toys were affected.
Uptmore says he doubts that whoever placed the needles there had any ill intentions, but people need to know that Southlake DPS does not accept used needles.
