
The city of Uvalde is planning to seek federal funding to tear down the elementary school where 19 children and two teachers were gunned down a week ago today.
Robb Elementary school remains a crime scene and Uvalde Mayor Don McLaughlin believes it must never be used to teach children again.
On Sunday, Texas state Senator Roland Gutierrez, who represents the Uvalde area, held out hope the feds will pay to tear down Robb Elementary and build another school.
