Bedford police say they have been in contact with a woman who was found wandering in a residential neighborhood on Friday.
The elderly woman was found barefoot on Teakwood Drive just north of Harwood Road. Police say she had a medical condition and was not able to tell officers her name or address.
They posted her picture on-line and asked anyone who recognized her to contact them. Police say someone did recognize her and came forward. They have been in contact with the woman's family.
