In Irving, city leaders appear ready to approve millions of dollars in incentives to bring thousands of new jobs to the city.
Banking giant Wells Fargo is planning to build a $200 million lakeside campus in Las Colinas to which they'll bring 4,000 new workers. The new Wells Fargo campus will be built near Las Colinas Blvd. and Promenade Pkwy on the north shore of Lake Carolyn. The Irving city council is expected to approve $30 million in financial incentives when it meets Thursday to seal the deal.
The deal calls for Well Fargo to move into it's new regional offices by December of 2026.
