The Great State Fair of Texas is open and people are excited!
From around the state, Texans will be gathering for the next 24 days.
The gates open every day at 10 a.m. The kids and their livestock will begin showing every morning at 9 a.m.
Friday at noon is the Opening Day parade. The official opening ceremony starts Friday evening at 7 p.m. in front of the Hall of State. The Cowboys of Color Rodeo starts at 6:30 p.m. at the Fair Park Coliseum.
