The investigation continues in White Settlement where a closed restaurant went up in flames Wednesday.
Reports say fire crews from White Settlement, Fort Worth, Lake Worth and River Oaks all worked together to fight the large fire at the vacant Sam's Southern Living restaurant on South Cherry Lane, a few blocks north of I-30.
The flames were bursting through the attic when the firefighters arrived and the whole structure was burning.
The large extension ladders with the high-powered hoses were employed to pump the water from above while ground crews worked the perimeter of the building.
The restaurant is a stand-alone structure so no other structures were threatened.
Since the restaurant has been closed for some time, it does not seem the cause would have been a kitchen fire, but investigators are still sifting through the debris.
