Woman dies in northwest Dallas bar shooting, 7 others wounded

A Dallas bar's liquor license has been suspended for a week while police investigate the deadly shooting at the Pryme Bar near Northwest Highway between Loop 12 and I-35.

A woman died and seven other people were wounded when a man opened fire early Saturday.

Detectives learned there was a disturbance between two groups when the gunman began firing into the crowd. He got away before police arrived.

This was the third shooting at a northwest Dallas night spot of the week.

Monday, a man was fatally shot at XTC Cabaret about three miles from Pryme. The next morning, a man was shot at DG's Gentlemen's Club about a mile from Pryme.
