A woman is in a Fort Worth hospital after being wounded in what police call a road rage shooting Wednesday.

About 4:30 p.m. a 9-1-1 call came in saying the caller's mother had been shot. Officers rushed to a home on Crimea Lane in far southwest Fort Worth.

Police learned the woman had actually been shot a few blocks away near the intersection of Columbus and Hulen.

She was shot in the upper body and she was taken to a local hospital with what's described as a non-life threatening wound.

Police say they have detained two people connected to the shooting.
