A man has been wounded in a downtown Dallas shooting and the gunman is still on the loose.
Just before midnight, Dallas Police say gunshots were reported near North Griffith and San Jacinto. Police found the unidentified wounded man and he was taken to a local hospital. His condition has not been released.
Police taped off a crime scene in a parking lot behind a convenience store and set out numerous evidence markers showing the location of spent shell casings and a skateboard that may have belonged to the victim.
Gunfire also struck a high-rise across the street from the convenience store but no one seems to have been struck there. Police are not saying anything about why the victim was shot.
