Our App today is called NoonLight. This is a security app if you're ever feeling uncomfortable in what you think could be a dangerous situation.
All you have to do is activate the app, and hold a button while you're in that situation. Don't release it until you're safe at home or in your car. Once you do that, you enter a 4-digit PIN. If you're holding the app and let go, and DON'T put in the PIN, help comes running to you. The app will call the police and let them know where you are. If you see something strange, add the info to your timeline, and the app lets the first responders know. It even works, if you have a date with someone you meet on Tinder.
One little extra bit of protection for you, in case it goes very badly. If you're in a situation, where you're not in one place, the app will keep up with you via GPS until first responders get to you.
Noonlight is a free app on iTunes and Android. It has in-app purchases for a premium version with more features.
