You know the "YouTube Rabbit Hole", don't you? You open your YouTube account and just go on a mindless binge of videos that YouTube has recommended to you on the home page.
Those people who allow the recommendations to show them what to look at are more likely to see videos that they wouldn't want to see.
A new study from Mozilla finds more than 70% of the YouTube recommendations might be called questionable by other viewers. Mozilla calls them "YouTube Regrets". Those videos could be conspiracy theories, the mistreatment of animals, or what they call "pseudoscience" about COVID-19 or other topics.
