When you live near a bayou in the south Texas town of Katy, you kind of take this in stride.
The Internet is buzzing about the 400 pound alligator discovered out for a morning stroll through the Cinco Ranch neighborhood this week.
The big gator seemed unfazed by the attention as numerous people pulled out a cell phone to catch a little video.
Officers and some gator wranglers got the big reptile tied up and then used the power hoist on a tow truck to lift him into a pick-up truck bed.
Officials said the original plan was to return him to the nearest bayou but eventually they decided to relocate him to Gator Country in Beaumont.
