Spotting a dolphin in the ocean is always a special experience; that is, of course, if it is from a distance. While dolphins aren’t usually high on the list of ocean species people fear, they can be some of the most aggressive in the water. Now, authorities are sending a warning throughout Texas as an aggressive dolphin off Padre Island has been tormenting visitors.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration have identified a dolphin in the water off of North Padre Island, about 20 miles east of Corpus Christi, that has been deemed a little “too friendly.” According to USA Today, the dolphin has been separating children from their parents in the water, and even some pets attempting to swim as well.

The warning from the NOAA claimed the dolphin "has become so used to humans that it now seeks out people, boats, and any form of interaction." People are now being asked to leave the dolphin alone, and boaters are being asked to avoid stopping if the dolphin is near. Sadly this dolphin will have to remain without human friends for now.
