A body in a suitcase has Harris County investigators puzzled.
Found by a couple walking their dog late Sunday night, the remains are badly decomposed so it's going to take a while for the medical examiner to identify the body or to determine the cause of death.
However, the Medical Examiner's officer said Monday it is apparently a woman, although that's about all that can be said.
The field where the suitcase was found is covered in tall grass and police believe that could explain why the remains were not found for so long.
