The fast food chain is constantly being picked as the Lone Star state’s top choice any time a survey is done to see each state’s favorite. However, a new study has revealed that when it comes to the dipping sauce, it’s one from another chain that Texans love the most.
Travel website Upgraded Points recently unveiled its list of each state’s favorite fast food dipping sauce. Their study found that the majority of states preferred Chick-fil-A’s signature sauce, a combination of honey mustard, ranch and BBQ sauce. In fact, only five states picked a different sauce as their favorite, according to CW33.

As for Texas, despite Whataburger having multiple dipping sauces of their own to choose from, the fast food chain failed to make the top two. Texans actually picked Raising Cane’s sauce as their second favorite option. Based on this, Texans may want to start stocking up on dipping sauces from other fast food restaurants to use whenever they get Whataburger.
