When you’re out on the road, sometimes a gas station on the horizon is a welcome sight. You can grab some snacks, go to the bathroom, stretch your legs a little bit, but soon you’d pack up and be on your way.
Some of the gas stations you might see driving through Texas you wouldn’t want to stay too long at anyway. That’s not the case with this Texaco in Kerrville, though.
Well, it used to function as a Texaco gas station. Now, it operates as a fully functional Airbnb. And we have to tell you, this place looks AWESOME!
There are four bedrooms with a total of seven beds, and two and a half bathrooms, and includes a pool table, ping pong table, board games, a private backyard, a grill and so much more!
The owner of the property told MySA.com in an email, “The idea to turn this old Texaco gas station into a unique Airbnb came from our desire to preserve its historical significance while offering travelers a one-of-a-kind experience.
“We noticed that people often prefer staying in distinctive and memorable accommodations over traditional hotels. This Texaco gas station holds a special charm, and we wanted to share that with our guests.”
The rental is available for $469 a night, and can comfortably fit 10 guests.
