Just because Texans choose to move somewhere, they don't necessarily want to leave Texas.
A new study from LendingTree finds when Texans uproot, they are more likely to replant those roots somewhere else in Texas. The Lone Star State leads the country when it comes to people staying in the same state. In total, just over 93 percent of people moving remain in the state.
Out of the people that leave Texas, most of them go to Florida.
Texas is also very popular for out of staters coming in. For example, 26 percent of people who leave Oklahoma move to Texas.
