Kingsville mom Kelsey Burkhalter Golden is taking her new world-wide fame in stride. Golden's Facebook post has gone viral showing her toddler son sitting and happily munching on a McDonald's cheeseburger, alongside the 30 other burgers he ordered through Door Dash using mom's phone.
Golden says 2-year-old Barrett was playing with her phone and she thought he was taking pictures. But, somehow, he got into the Door Dash app and shortly after, a driver arrived on their doorstep with a large bag of cheeseburgers.
Within a day or so, she'd been interviewed by news outlets around Texas and around the country, and even by one TV station in Australia.
Golden says she invited the neighbors over for free cheeseburgers.
The final bill for the cheeseburgers came to just under $92. And Barrett was a real sport, he added a $16 tip for the driver.
