The Uvalde school board has set an August 24th termination hearing to decide if Pete Arredondo will be fired as district police chief.
Arredondo has been roundly criticized for his response to the deadly school shooting.
The hearing has been scheduled and postponed twice at the request of Arredondo's lawyers. The hearing will be open to the public.
