If you can believe one Internet site ranking the nation's happiest cities, no Texas city even makes the Top 20.

According to WalletHub.com, the happiest place in the United States is Fremont, California, a Bay Area city of about 230,000 people.

In fact, WalletHub claims twelve of the Top 20 cities are in California. The best Texas can do is Plano in 22nd place.

Other Texas cities ranked are Grand Prairie, Irving, Garland, Fort Worth, Arlington and Dallas all ranging from 83rd to 111th place.

WalletHub's study figured in factors like emotional and physical well-being, income, employment, leisure time and depression.
