Welcome to Monday! I hope you had a terrific weekend. The weather sure was nice! Our weather highlights for the next 7 days calls for cool mornings, warm afternoons with low relative humidity. And unfortunately, no rain is in the forecast.
We're starting off cool again this morning as some areas have dropped into the 40s away from town, mainly in the 50s elsewhere. Skies are clear and temperatures will warm up nicely today back in the middle 80s. Yesterday we hit 84°. Average high this time of the year has dropped to 83°.
More of the same through the rest of the week with a brief warm up by Thursday and Friday. Afternoon highs tomorrow and Wednesday will reach the 80s, morning lows will be in the 50s to low 60s.
By Thursday and Friday, some areas may touch the 90° mark! That's 7° above average for this time of the year. Things will change late Friday as a dry cold front comes into the area. This will cool temperatures down to near 80° for afternoon highs this weekend, morning lows will dip into the 40s and 50s. 40s will be in the rural areas away from town.
Some of the extended model data by the middle of next week brings rain back to the area, as well as cooler temperatures. That's still days away in a subject to change. Stay tuned.
