All is quiet this morning across north Texas with temperatures in the mid to upper seventies. Nothing is showing up on radar and I'm not expecting too much today, but a few of you lucky one saw a late day shower or storm yesterday. Afternoon highs will creep back into the middle nineties with heat index values near 100ﾟ
A few more of you will see a late day shower or storm tomorrow and then only 1 or 2 of you will enjoy one on Saturday. Afternoon highs will be a little cooler tomorrow with readings near 90ﾟ. Saturday's highs back in the low to mid nineties.
And then there is Sunday… another summertime cold front comes in to North Texas producing scattered showers and thunderstorms. A few these could become strong with wind and lightning being the main threats. The best rain chances right now will be along and east of Inter state 35 on Saturday and along and south of Interstate 20 on Monday.
By Tuesday, this front washes out with only a slight chance for a shower or storm. The rest of the week into next weekend looks dry, as temperatures heat back up into the middle nineties.
