We're starting off this morning in the low to mid sixties with clouds invading from the south. Clouds will break up by late morning, giving way to a partly cloudy sky with highs in the low eighties. South winds will gust to 30 mph.
Morning clouds afternoon sunshine will be the weather story on Friday and Saturday, with highs in the mid eighties. South winds will gust to 35 mph on Friday. There's also a slight chance for a shower or thunderstorm early Saturday morning, as a weak cold front briefly heads south of the area.
By Sunday morning, this cold front will lift back to the north into Oklahoma and could produce a couple of scattered showers on Sunday morning, but I wouldn't bet on it.
The big weather player arrives late Sunday night and early Monday morning, as a large area thunderstorms heads through the area. Afternoon highs on Sunday will be in the mid eighties. Some of these storms could become severe late Sunday into early Monday. I will monitor as usual.
We're back to sunshine Monday afternoon with highs in the mid eighties. Partly cloudy Tuesday with a slight chance for a shower storm late. Highs in the mid eighties. Increasing rain chances into Wednesday, with readings in the mid eighties once again.
