Good morning everyone and welcome to Thursday! We are shaking hands with low clouds, a ton of humidity, and a bit of wind this morning. Temperatures are hovering near 70゚! There is no rain on radar and I'm not expecting any until late Saturday and especially Sunday and Monday across north Texas.
We'll be dealing with these low clouds every morning through the weekend with afternoon sunshine through Saturday. Morning lows will be near 70゚ and afternoon highs will warm into the mid to upper eighties... with a ton of wind.
Our big weather change arrives here on Sunday and lasts through Monday, as a lot of welcome rain is on the way. Unfortunately, some of this rain will be in the form of isolated severe storms during the day Sunday. This being said, if you have any outdoor plans, get them finished by Saturday evening, because the weather is going to take a turn for the worst after that... but we need the rain...we don't need the severe weather.

Storms will start to form to our northwest late Saturday evening, but I think they'll stay out there through the overnight. It won't be until Sunday late morning that showers and storms will start to form right on top of us. Some storms may become severe with locally heavy rainfall possible.
A strong cold front will move into the area early Monday morning dropping temperatures into the fifties, as a chilly rain falls. This rain will slowly press south of DFW during the day, but afternoon highs will hold steady in the mid to upper fifties! Brrrrrrr.
Skies will clear on Tuesday, but we will remain on the cool side, with highs in the low seventies. Temperatures will drop into the forties in the morning, with highs in the low seventies.
Wednesday looks nice as well with a bit warmer temperatures. Highs will reach the upper seventies. Our warm up will continue through the end of next week with no rain.
