It's a chilly start this morning under a full moon across North Texas. Temperatures have fallen into the 30s once again. Good news is, there's no wind to speak of so we're not dealing with wind chills this morning.

Plenty of sunshine today with highs in the low 60s. That's a little bit above average for this time of the year. Our average low has bottomed out at 56° and we'll start to warm back up on January the 18th.

For tomorrow, a quick warm up will take place as a southerly wind picks up and gusts to 30 mph. Afternoon highs will reach the low 70s.

Our next cold front arrives early Saturday morning, but unfortunately I don't foresee it bringing us any welcome rain. A different story about 50 to 80 miles southeast of DFW. Afternoon highs through the weekend will be in the low 60s, morning lows in the 30s again.

No changes in our forecast through the middle of next week. Plenty of sunshine will dominate our weather. Afternoon highs will reach the upper 60s on Monday and Tuesday, and low to mid 70s by Wednesday. Our next cold front is due to arrive early Thursday, dropping temperatures back too near seasonal norms.
