Plenty of sunshine today with light winds, storm chances return Wednesday

A spectacularly warm day today, a few showers and isolated non-severe storms tomorrow, a level 3 out of 5 for severe storms the 2nd half of Thursday, cooler Friday and a perfect weekend to follow.

We're waking up to temperatures in the mid forties to low fifties at this hour under a clear sky. Plenty of sunshine today, light wind and low humidity will greet you for your outdoor pleasure. Afternoon highs will jump up to near 80゚.

Clouds rolling in quickly tonight and there's going to be a few showers and isolated non-severe thunderstorms around tomorrow morning and a few leftover showers late in the day. Afternoon highs will be held down into the mid seventies due to the cloud cover.

Showers and thunderstorms are a pretty good bet on Thursday, especially towards evening. Some of these storms may become severe with all modes of severe weather possible. A level 3 out of 5 has been put in place across much of north Texas. Large hail, damaging wind, and isolated tornadoes are the threats. You know I'll be watching for you! Rapid clearing will take place early Friday, becoming windy and much cooler. Afternoon highs near 60゚.

The weekend looks fantastic. Plenty of sunshine with highs in the mid sixties for Saturday. Pushing 70゚ on Sunday, low to mid seventies on Monday.
