Our quiet weather pattern will continue across north Texas for the foreseeable future, with temperatures near average and no precipitation for at least for the next 7 days. There will be a weak cold front that will slide through the area early Sunday, cooling us off briefly through Monday.. but as of now, I don't see any rain with this front on Sunday morning.
We're waking up to temperatures in the low to mid 70s once again. Afternoon highs will reach the low 90s today. We hit 95 for the second day in a row yesterday at DFW. We'll be slightly cooler today, but a little bit above average. No rain is in the forecast as well.
You can repeat this forecast for tomorrow and Saturday with afternoon highs in the low 90s. Morning lows will be in the low to mid 70s.
By Sunday morning, a weak cold front will slide south of the area ushering insightly dryer and cooler air, briefly. Afternoon highs on Sunday will reach the mid 80s with a north wind at 10 to 20 mph.
This front lifts back to the north on Monday with highs in the upper 80s under a clear sky.
Looking ahead Tuesday through all of next week.. plenty of sunshine with high temperatures in the low 90s, morning lows will be in the 70s.
