For the Boombox Thursday's on-air text contest, listen to the station each Thursday afternoon, excluding holidays [Thursday, November 26, 2026] and days in which Abe Kanan is out sick, on vacation or his show does not air, from 5:00PM PT on Thursday, January 8, 2026 through 6:00PM PT on Thursday, December 17, 2026 for the cue to text your application. Text the word "BOOMBOX" to the station’s SMS shortcode at (916)909-0985 an unlimited amount of times before 6:00PM PT from Thursday, January 8, 2026 through Thursday, December 17, 2026. Up to Forty Nine (49) winners will be randomly selected and upon verification of eligibility, will receive One (1) Riptunes Radio Cassette Boombox, valued at $110.25 total ARV, courtesy of Audacy. Entrants may only win once within the same contest.

THIRD-PARTY MOBILE TICKETING STATEMENT

Redeeming and using the prize(s) in this contest requires for the winner(s) (i) to have a valid email address and an app-enabled mobile device capable of downloading and running a third-party mobile ticketing app (e.g., Ticketmaster, AXS, MLB, etc.); (ii) to install, or have already installed, such mobile ticketing app on their app-enabled mobile device; and (iii) to login into an existing user account or to sign up for a free user account with the third-party operating such mobile ticketing app by completing a form with all required information, including at a minimum first name, last name, and valid email address. THE PRIZE(S) IN THIS CONTEST CANNOT BE REDEEMED OR USED BY ANY MEANS OTHER THAN THE DESIGNATED THIRD-PARTY MOBILE TICKETING APP FOR THIS PRIZE.
