PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts took a lot of blame for Monday's embarrassing 41-21 loss to the Dallas Cowboys.

"I didn't execute," Hurts said after throwing two interceptions, one of which was returned for a Pick 6. "I didn't do a good enough job of leading. I didn't do a good enough job of running our offense, of doing the things that I need to do, so it's on me. This one's on me."

SportsRadio 94WIP's Ray Didinger said the blame should be split between Hurts and head coach Nick Sirianni. "Now who is who gets the greater portion of that? I don't know," he said.

The second-year quarterback's response was admirable, considering his rookie head coach's game plan featuring 12 total runs and only two from Miles Sanders.

"A lot of people will look at the quarterback," said Voice of the Eagles Merrill Reese. "And Jalen Hurts did not have a good night, and he did make some mistakes ... but it was a lot more than the quarterback last night."

But it's Hurts' scatological message to his teammates and Eagles fans that's raising eyebrows.

"Learn from it and move on. I've said it a number of times, and I feel this way after every loss," Hurts said.

"You know, you take your deuce, you don't sit there and look at it. You flush it and move on and go. Flush it and move on."

Fair enough. Every Eagles wants to flush that debacle of a football game that took place in Arlington Monday night.
