3 people dead, 4-year-old wounded after more weekend shootings

Three people are dead and one person is recovering after separate shootings in Philadelphia this weekend.

The first happened Saturday afternoon, when a 26-year-old woman was killed in Kensington.

In the city's Spruce Hill section a few hours later, a 33-year-old man was shot once in the head and pronounced dead near 42nd and Salem streets.

Police said just before 8 p.m., a four-year-old boy was shot in the right foot on 32nd Street, in the Strawberry Mansion section of the city. He was taken to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and listed in stable condition.

Then, early Sunday morning, a 34-year-old man was killed after being shot 14 times in the highway in the Mantua neighborhood, near 37th and Aspen streets.

These come after an attempted robbery Saturday morning that left a man in critical condition after being shot twice.

According to authorities, there's only been one arrest, and that was in the Kensington shooting.

Anyone with information about the other shootings is being asked to call police.
