According to the Philadelphia Division of the FBI, the man entered the bank in Wyncote around 9:40 a.m. They say he took a shotgun out of his bag and jumped over the counter.

He obtained an undisclosed amount of cash and fled on foot.

The man, who is believed to be between 30 and 40 years old, was wearing all black — a long-sleeve shirt, pants and a hat — and carrying a black and white Nike duffel bag.

Police say the man is considered armed and dangerous, so anyone with information should call 911, or contact the Cheltenham Township Police Department at 215-885-1600 ext. 777 or the FBI at 215-418-4000. Tips can remain anonymous.
