PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — The trial is underway in Bucks County of a 50-year-old Chalfont woman who is accused of harassing members of her daughter’s cheerleading team.

Raffeala Spone is charged with harassment. Prosecutors say she sent messages to teenagers on the Victory Vipers cheer team.

The investigation started when a teen got a message from an unknown number saying, “You should kill yourself.” Prosecutors say that number was traced back to Spone.

Spone had been charged with taking photos off the girls’ social media pages and doctoring them, but those charges have been withdrawn.

In a previous statement, Bucks County District Attorney Matt Weintraub said police were “unable to confirm the video evidence was falsified.”
