'It's the bubbles!' — KYW Newsradio presents 'Champagne turkey'

Get KYW anchor Suzanne Monaghan's recipe here

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) -- Not a big fan of turkey? You're not alone. KYW Newsradio anchor Ian Bush says he would rather do without it on the Thanksgiving table, but fellow anchor Suzanne Monahan has a recipe for the big bird that converted even him.

"I was never a big turkey fan, but Champagne turkey?" he says "Take it up another notch."

Monaghan says her Champagne turkey is delicious, juicy and flavorful. She says it will melt in your mouth. And importantly, she says, it's pretty easy.

KYW Newsradio told people about the recipe last year, and there were so many requests for it, we're presenting it here:

"The X factor is that champagne. I can't quite put my tongue, my taste buds, on it. But there's something to it," says Bush. "Maybe it's the bubbles."

Monaghan agrees. "I think it's the bubbles. I believe in bubbles."
