Cooper University Hospital now administering monkeypox vaccines to NJ residents

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — People in New Jersey without a confirmed monkeypox exposure can now schedule a vaccination through Cooper University Hospital in Camden.

Appointments are open only to residents who believe they may have been exposed or are at high risk of having been exposed to the virus.

Vaccine supply is very limited and will be administered by appointment only.

Vaccines will be administered Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Appointments can be scheduled by calling 856-968-7100 or applying online.

So far, Camden County has identified four probable cases of monkeypox.
