
PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — COVID-19 indicators like positivity rate and average new cases are still high across Pennsylvania, but they seemed to hold steady for a second week in a row.
The positivity rate, the percent of tests coming back positive, held steady around 9.6% statewide, but under 5% is their goal.
Delaware County positivity rate went up, from 8.1% to 8.9%, while the average of new cases went up by about 23 per day to 180.
Chester County’s positivity rate went from 8% to 8.7%, while the seven-day average of new cases held steady, up a bit at 127 to 129 per day.
Bucks County’s positivity rate stayed at about 10.5%. Average daily cases went down, from 223 per day to 213.
Montgomery County’s positivity rate is 8.7%, about where it was last week. The seven-day average of new cases dipped a bit from 228 per day to 214.
