PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — An argument turned deadly in Wildwood over the weekend.
Around 2:15 Sunday morning, a group of people walking down East Magnolia Avenue got into an argument with another group sitting on the porch of a home near Atlantic Avenue.
According to the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office, the argument escalated into a physical fight.
Prosecutors said 18-year-old DaJohn Taylor, of Highstown, Mercer County, stabbed 20-year-old Kaiden Braithwaite, of Cliffwood, Monmouth County. Braithwaite died at the scene.
Taylor stabbed two other individuals multiple times before he fled, authorities said.
He surrendered to police on Monday and was charged with first-degree murder, among other offenses.
