PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — It didn't come wrapped up in pretty paper, but New Jersey and Pennsylvania drivers got a gift from the Delaware River Port Authority on Wednesday. The DRPA's board of commissioners voted to postpone a scheduled toll increase for its four bridges until at least 2023.

Drivers who use the Benjamin Franklin, Walt Whitman, Commodore Barry and Betsy Ross Bridges will not have to pay more next year to cross the river.

The current cost is $5 for passenger vehicles to travel to the Philadelphia region from New Jersey.

This marks the 11th year in a row without a toll hike.
