Police seek driver who crashed into 4 parked cars in East Germantown, killing a man

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Police are investigating a hit-and-run that killed a man early Sunday morning in the East Germantown section of the city.

Police tell KYW Newsradio broadcast partner NBC 10 that the person responsible hit four cars parked at the intersection of East Chelten Avenue and Ardleigh Street.

First responders arrived to find a 51-year-old man who police say had been ejected from his car. He was pronounced dead at the scene around 3 a.m.

Police are actively looking for the driver responsible, who fled on foot.
