PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — More information is coming to light about what happened during an Independence Day party that turned deadly when four gunmen shot into a crowd of people celebrating on 60th Street in Philadelphia.
Police know that the four people who shot at Independence Day partygoers were driving a dark colored sedan with tinted windows.
They parked it on Walnut Street, before walking nearby to 60th Street where they opened fire on the crowd.

Sicarr Johnson threw the party as an anniversary celebration for his business. He was killed in the crossfire, as was Salahadin Mahmoud, a relative of Senator Sharif Street. A 16-year-old girl was also shot, but she is expected to survive.
“There is a lot of evidence out there on the highway," said Chief Inspector Frank Venore.
"We know now that some of the partygoers, some of the people that were in the crowd returned fire in this instance in self defense, so there is a lot of evidence that we need to cull through.”
Meanwhile, Venore is asking people to help find the gunmen by telling detectives what they saw.
“We do have a lot of information coming in, but we do know that there were a lot of people out there, a lot of people attending the celebration, and we know in the neighborhood (that) people talk, so we are willing to take any information and see if it pieces together with the evidence we have," said Venore.
If you watch the above video at the end, you can hear the horrifying scene of rapid fire bullets. But it starts with some still footage of the car and the suspects who Venore said they now know had lasers on their guns.
Anyone with information is being asked to call 215-686-8477 or call the Philadelphia Homicide unit directly.
