PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A popular trolley tour that travels to Philadelphia neighborhoods is making a return this year for its seventh season.

The Jolly Trolley lasts for about two hours, is decked out in festive lights, has live music and is BYOB. Passengers are welcome aboard until Dec. 31.

It makes stops at some of the brightest holiday light displays in the city, like Miracle on S. 13th Street and Smedley Street Christmas Spectacular.

Two musicians on the Trolley, Justin and Koser, say even the grinch would have a fun time on the tour.

“How can you be grumpy when there are beautiful bright lights and smiling people and booze and lots of things to look at left and right when we are driving through the city,” Koser said.

Justin feels the Trolley is the perfect opportunity for artists to land gigs during the holiday season.

“Playing covers or original music, it’s hard to come by gigs in December.”

“This is just a plethora of gigs with fun crowds everyone having a fun time we get to develop as performers together.”

Tickets can be purchased on their website.
