PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Once you have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19, there is still a chance you can get the virus.
But so far, there are few cases of this happening. The percentages vary depending on the vaccine, but only a small percentage of those fully vaccinated may contract COVID-19 if exposed to the virus.
There are definitely repeat cases, though most reports, as of this time, say there are far fewer than we would expect. In other good news, the cases among vaccinated people have been overwhelmingly minor.
The vaccines are working, and those who have received the vaccine are seeing the benefit.
