PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — U.S. Marshals have arrested a suspect wanted after the shooting of a woman in a bowling alley parking lot in Ardmore.
Marshals turned Jamil Wynder, 28, into the Haverford Township Police Department after arresting him Tuesday in Philadelphia.
Police said Wynder faces six charges including attempted homicide, aggravated assault, robbery and terroristic threats.
The shooting happened August 13 at about 10:20 p.m. in the lot at Wynnewood Lanes Bowling and Lounge on Haverford Road near Karakung Drive, according to authorities.
Haverford Township Police said that the woman was found shot in the parking lot. She told police she had an argument with the father of their child.
According to her statement, he fired numerous shots at her, striking and injuring her.
The victim refused medical treatment at the scene.
