PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A Lancaster County man is accused of sexually assaulting dogs that were in his care.

Pennsylvania State Police arrested 22-year-old Uriah Peretz Groff, of Christiana, Pennsylvania, on Wednesday.

According to investigators with the Central Computer Crime Unit, an animal cruelty officer and the PSPCA, Groff allegedly had videos of himself engaging in sexual intercourse with multiple dogs.

Investigators conducted a search warrant of his residence on Upper Valley Road. He was taken into custody thereafter.

He is charged with sexual intercourse with an animal and aggravated animal cruelty.

Authorities seized the dogs and placed them in the care of the PSPCA, police said.

Groff remains in Lancaster County Prison after bail was set at $50,000. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for early August.
