Twin brothers among 4 men killed Saturday on I-76 when another man crashed into their car

Pennsylvania State Police have identified the four men killed early Saturday morning when 31-year-old Victor Spizzirri crashed into their car.

They are 23-year-old twins Tucker and Chris Schimelfeing, and 24-year-old Michael Comerford — all three from Clarks Summit, just northwest of Scranton. The fourth man was 31-year-old Jean Santana from Philadelphia.

Authorities say Spizzirri is expected to face several charges, including homicide by vehicle while driving under the influence.

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A 31-year-old man has been arrested after a crash that killed four people early Saturday morning on the Schuylkill Expressway.

Pennsylvania State Police say just before 2 a.m. near Roosevelt Boulevard Victor Spizzirri was driving under the influence when he swerved across lanes and struck another car – with four passengers inside – from behind, propelling it into a bridge on Interstate 76 Westbound.

All four victims died. Spizzirri was taken to a local hospital with moderate injuries and is facing charges for homicide by vehicle.

Information on the victims identities is not yet known.
