PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A Camden County man was sentenced to three years and one month in prison for his involvement in a South Jersey drug trafficking ring.

Marcus Rushworth, 48, of Gloucester City, previously pleaded guilty to working with others to sell oxycodone and Xanax, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of New Jersey.

Authorities say he is the eighth person involved with this ring to be sentenced out of 18 people, who investigators believe are connected to the drug operation that went on around Gloucester City and Camden.

In addition to the prison term, Rushworth was sentenced to three years of supervised release.
