PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Children must make a lot of adjustments as they head off to school. Getting a good night’s sleep can be a big help.
One of the best parts of summer for children is the freedom that comes from day after day without the responsibilities of school and homework. While this freedom is exciting for kids, it can be exhausting for parents trying to keep up with them.
For parents, the return of children to school can be somewhat freeing — but, for children, the structure and the need to start the weekday early can be tough.
A time-tested method for success is to start making bedtime earlier for a few days. The earlier you start the more gradual you can make the change. More rest as well as a nutritious breakfast are two of the best things you can do to get the kids off to a great start
