Some common features of borderline personality disorder are negative self image, unstable personal relationships, impulsive behavior and mood swings.
It is important to know that all of us display these personality traits at one time or another, but the consistent presence is common in those with borderline personality disorder.
Another issue is called “splitting,” in which some relationships are valued or undervalued.
