
PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A pregnant woman, her newborn, and a 12-year-old boy were killed in a car crash Saturday morning in western New York. They were part of a group of three families traveling from Norristown, Pennsylvania to Niagara Falls, New York, according to New York State Police.
They were all in an Econoline van — carrying 13 people total — when it crashed on I-390. The vehicle swerved off the roadway after a rear tired failed. Police said the car then slammed into the median and rolled over several times.
The woman, 40-year-old Margarita Ramirez-Luna, died at the hospital. The child was delivered but also died. Her newborn, 1-year-old Mateas, also died.
The older boy, identified as 12-year-old Alex Andrade, was pronounced dead at the scene.

In addition to the infant, three other children were onboard — two 8-year-olds and a 16-year-old.
The conditions of the other passengers have not been released.
New York State Police are continuing to investigate the deadly crash.
