Multiple people injured on roller coaster at Six Flags Great Adventure

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Several people were injured on a roller coaster at Six Flags Great Adventure Thursday night in Jackson Township, New Jersey.

It happened on a wooden coaster called El Toro just before 8 p.m.

Six Flags officials said five people were evaluated at the hospital after several “reported back pain after riding El Toro.”

The ride remains closed for inspection.

In May, El Toro was deemed No. 1 on USA Today’s list of the “10 best roller coasters of 2022.”
